Video: What to do When You Find out a Parent is Cheating Part 1

If you found some clues but are not certain, should you do some snooping, maybe online?

If you know for sure, should you tell your betrayed parent?

Should you confront your cheating parent with what you know?

These are all really good questions, and we will get to them.

Before you do anything else, feel what you feel.

Because there are so many feelings when you find out that a parent is cheating. Everyone talks about the shock, fear, anger, and grief. But you also may feel as much anger towards your betrayed parent, as to your cheating parent. You may feel relief, because you have known all along that something was wrong, but didn’t know what it was.

However you feel, it is not wrong.

There is so much out there for couples coping with infidelity, but almost nothing for the kids of those couples.

Which is crazy, because there are millions of kids, of all ages, who have to live with cheating parents.

You are not alone.
