WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT DO YOU NEED?
i know that lots of TEENS AND ADULT CHILDREN need help when a parent cheats.
Here are some of the struggles that I have heard from teen and adult children struggling with a parent’s infidelity:
You feel the betrayal acutely, sometimes viscerally, in a way that is so uncomfortable that they do not know how to find relief.
You love both your parents and want nothing more than to want to have relationship with them, but feel burned every time you are around them
You know that they need to set some boundaries, but find it difficult because you love your parents, and you want to be a good daughter to them
You struggle to trust others, especially in romantic relationships, and fear that what happened with your parents will happen to you
DO ANY OF THESE RESONATE WITH YOU?
WHAT ARE YOUR STRUGGLES?
I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR STORY.
I am in the early stages of developing a program to help teens and adult children who have a parent who cheated, and are now struggling to trust in relationships of any kind: romantic, friendship, even at work. This is incredibly important work and in order to create the most impactful and transformational program possible, I am looking to interview people who fit this description and learn more about their challenges, frustrations, dreams and goals. This is purely for research purposes to be able to create something truly impactful.
WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO HAVE A SHORT, FREE ZOOM INTERVIEW WITH ME?
This research is crucial and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to connect with you and hear what kind of program or assistance would be.most helpful to you.
